Plural is Major Pimã's bodyguard and shows up in the saga's big battles. The name has a reason: he is, literally, more than one.

Two fighters, one body

The Plural dossier in the character archive tells the origin plainly. He is a creature of Quark Labs, the result of the necroscience mastered by Major Pimã: two corpses fallen in combat, one a weapons specialist and the other a martial artist, reanimated and fused into a single body. That body inherited the skills both of them had when alive.

That fusion is why Plural has no single identity. He always refers to himself in the plural, with his voice echoing in sync, a direct reference to the pair that gave rise to him. That is where the codename comes from.

A hybrid creature formed by the fusion of corpses through necroscience, the embodiment of the regime's ideology.

How he fights

Plural's main power is hand-to-hand combat. According to his file, he fights on equal footing with Radius in direct confrontations and is one of the few able to sustain a battle against the hero for a long time. Two things explain it:

  • Fused skills: everything the weapons specialist and the martial artist knew how to do is combined in a single body.
  • Combat suit: made from rare Ipê-branco fiber, it boosts his fighting capacity.

The suit has a catch. The fiber wears out with use and needs constant repairs.

Bodyguard and field commander

Plural is Major Pimã's personal bodyguard, and the dictator sends him into the field in every major battle against the resistance. On the Tomorrow Troops page, he is the one leading the army in the field while the dictator commands. With Radius, the relationship is that of a direct rival.

Where Plural appears

  • Volume 1, Sabotagem: first appearance, sent by Major Pimã to face Radius and the resistance directly in combat.
  • Volume 2, A Queda de Aruanda: he faces Radius in person again, in a new Tomorrow Troops assault on Aruanda.
  • Volume 3, Ponto de Virada: he commands the Tomorrow Troops in the field alongside Major Pimã in the final invasion of Aruanda.

Plural is the most visible example of what the regime does in Quark Labs. The Marília Metropolitana page describes the place as where necroscience is practiced: the reanimation of corpses fused with robotics, used to create super soldiers. That side of the regime has a post of its own on necroscience and Major Pimã.
