Pituco Nº 1: Aurora Esmeralda, the solo comic of Marília's dog
A green flash in the sky, an abandoned factory and a night that gets out of hand. Meet the Radius spin-off starring Pituco.
After three volumes sharing the stage with Radius, Pituco got a comic of his own. Pituco Nº 1: Aurora Esmeralda is the spin-off that puts Marília's most beloved mixed-breed dog at the center of the story, in a 32-page adventure.
A light that did not come by chance
The synopsis starts in a relaxed mood. After a short rest from his battles, Pituco goes with his friends to the Beco das Gatas da Noite. He tries to have fun, but his mind will not settle. When he decides to head home, an emerald flash tears through the sky and lights up the road.
What he cannot imagine is where that light came from. Beyond the limits of the Solar System, an energy was desperately fleeing its pursuers and seeking refuge on Earth. Guided by instinct and a thirst for adventure, Pituco follows the glowing trail to an abandoned factory. From there on, it is up to the comic.
A different tone
Readers coming from the Radius volumes will notice the difference. The official credits classify the comic as cartoon, with a playful tone. The team is familiar to anyone who follows the saga: story by Tiago de Moraes das Chagas, art by Tony Pessanha and colors by Felipe Felix. The script is by Christian Stussy and Tony Pessanha.
