Radius I and Radius II: the ships of Pituco's animated series
The dog who joined RADIUS as a supporting character now leads his own crew on YouTube, aboard two ships named after the hero.

Pituco joined RADIUS as a supporting character and became the heart of the story. Now he has an animated series of his own. Universo Pituco premiered on its YouTube channel with a new episode every Wednesday, and the fourth one, "O Sol Roxo" (The Purple Sun), airs this Wednesday, November 4, at noon (Brasília time).
To meet the crew, the best place to start is the series opening, which shows Pituco and his friends crossing space.
The series is made for kids. Pituco leads a crew of sixteen friends on a journey through space, and each episode deals with the challenges of growing up: joining a new sports team, facing a harder test, learning a new subject at school.

The link to RADIUS is right there in the show. The crew travels in two ships: Radius I, with Pituco and Plutônico at the controls, and Radius II, flown by Nick and Espiga. The names are a tribute to Pituco's origin: before leading his own crew, he fought alongside Radius in Marília Metropolitana.

Like Pituco, several characters in the series come from real life. Pepita is inspired by Maria Rita, a little dog who uses a wheelchair, and Totó, Zig, Zag and Lufi were inspired by dogs Tiago knows.
New episodes come out every Wednesday on the Universo Pituco YouTube channel, and news from the crew also goes up on the Universo Pituco Instagram. The premiere made the news on Paulista Notícias, and the full presentation, with the ships, the crew and the games, is on the Universo Pituco website.
