Radius Volume 3: the climax that closes the first arc

Every arc needs an ending. Radius got its ending in September 2024, with Volume 3. In the character files the issue goes by the name Ponto de Virada, the turning point. On the official website, the line is direct: the climax of the first saga.

The synopsis

At the height of the decisive battle, Aruanda faces its darkest moment. Radius and the Tapanhumas are on the front line against Major Pimã and against Plural, who commands the Tomorrow Troops in the field. According to the Troops' file, it is the biggest offensive of the saga, with an arsenal of extremely powerful weapons.

In the middle of the chaos, hope appears. Pituco returns with new allies, the Confronters. The synopsis describes Radius coordinating the attack while Pituco and Jack throw themselves into the front line. How it ends, we will not tell.

The fate of our heroes will be decided in a thrilling climax, with great sacrifice and determination.

The paw on the chest

One detail of this volume goes beyond the story. The symbol Pituco wears on his chest, the paw, appeared for the first time at the end of Volume 3. It was created from the paw print of the real Pituco, taken on the day the dog passed away, in July 2024.

The launch

The event took place on September 28, 2024, at Esmeralda Shopping, with fans, photos, autographs and a tribute to Pituco. With it, the first great arc of the Radius universe was complete: three volumes, from 2022 to 2024.
