Jack, aka Chimney: the ally Pituco met in the Kennel
He can get any piece of junk running, leads a crew of his own and was nicknamed Chimney by Pituco. Meet Jack, the ally who shows up in Radius Volume 2.

Not every ally of the resistance comes from Aruanda. Jack shows up far from there, inside the worst address in Marília Metropolitana, and only joins the saga in the second volume. He is file 06 of the 13 characters in the Radius Universe Archive, and his story runs straight through Pituco.

The meeting in the Kennel
The Kennel is the slave-fighting arena run by Major Pimã. There, prisoners are forced to fight as slaves for the entertainment of Marília Metropolitana's residents. The prisoners themselves have a name for the dictator: "Sádico Pimã" (Sadistic Pimã).
It is inside that arena that Jack crosses paths with Pituco, in Volume 2, A Queda de Aruanda. While Radius, Peregrino and the Tapanhumas defend Aruanda, the anthropomorphic dog goes on a parallel journey and faces the Kennel. That is where the two become allies.
Chimney and Shorty
With Pituco around, nobody goes without a nickname. He is the one who names Jack "Chimney". Jack pays him back in kind and calls the dog "Shorty". Radius knows the habit well: Pituco is the only one who calls him "Spark", and gets a "Fleabag" in return.
Scrap, faith and a crew of his own
Jack's main power has nothing supernatural about it. It is mechanical talent: he can fix and improvise almost anything out of scrap, the kind of skill that gets the resistance out of dead-end situations. The official file keeps a piece of trivia that sums up the character: it was Jack who fixed the vehicle that got him and Pituco out of the Kennel, "on scrap and faith alone".
The two have that in common. Pituco's file also lists an unexpected talent for fixing and improvising with scrap.
His second skill is leadership. Jack commands a crew of his own, outside Aruanda, which reunites with the resistance when it is needed most. On the page for the first major arc, he appears as a member of the Confronters, the new allies who arrive in the third volume, and is described as pragmatic and direct, someone who questions the limits of ethics in a collapsing world.
